This picture was the closest thing I could get to what it looked like ha!
*This is one of my favorite meals and one of my family favorites. Hope you guys enjoy!
Italian Beef
1 Large Brisket (Fat trimmed off)
1 Large Onion, peeled, sliced in wedges
3-4 pkgs. Good Seasons Italian Seasoning mix
Small bottle Pepperocinis, chopped, with juice
1. Put brisket and onion in Dutch oven or Roasting pan.
2. Sprinkle seasoning mixes over meat and onion.
3. Pour about 15 pepperocinis (I think this is what gives it a nice spicy kick to it, so you can put more in if you want) chopped over meat.
4. Pour 1-2 qts. (depending on how much juice you want) water around the meat.
5. Put lid on pan and cook for 8-12 hours or overnight on 250 degrees.
6. Shred with a fork; let cook a little longer.
7. Serve on Kaiser Buns, or hard rolls.
*The briskets are huge so you can always do half of it, and just split the recipe in half. Half a briket will feed anywhere from 4-6 people.
